A meeting of the Z136.6 American National Standard for Safe Use of Lasers Standard Subcommittee (SSC-6) has been scheduled for January 27th, 2003 at DRS Optronics in Melbourne, Florida.
Complete Announcement:
--------------------------------
Everyone,
I have received excellent response from my previous emails and the membership list is almost complete. We have a good group attending the meetings in January. I have contacted the Radisson Suite Hotel Oceanfront for convenience since the G-10 will be meeting there and several of you
will be attending that as well. Ask for the ANSI Z136 rate of $105 per night (or the G-10 rate, which is the same); that is also the government per diem rate. The meeting location is about 15 minutes away at DRS Optronics; directions will follow. Refreshments will be available in the morning and afternoon, but lunch is on your own since I thought everyone would like to get outside and enjoy the sunshine during lunch.
I have attached suggested schedules for the two days of meeting, and the current membership list and contact information. SSC-6 (dot6) will meet
on Monday, 27 January and TSC-7 (examples) will meet on Tuesday, 28 January.
The ANSI Z136.6 examples will be discussed on Tuesday instead of Monday. For those on the TSC-7 committee only that would like to spend two days in Florida, you are welcome to attend both meetings or attend just the afternoon on Monday, but let me know if you are planning on doing that.
Also, perhaps everyone could check their information to make sure that I entered it correctly.
