Results of Default Recirculation Ballot for the Z136.4 (CDV2)
Date: Tuesday, December 08, 2009 @ 17:12:19 MST
Topic: Accredited Standards Committee

The default recirculation ballot to approve resolutions made to the revision of the Z136.4 Recommended Practice for Laser Safety Measurements for Hazard Evaluation closed December 4, 2009; the second public review of this same document will close December 13, 2009.

If a member of the balloting group does not plan to change his/her vote on a default recirculation ballot, it is not necessary to return the ballot. In this case, the vote will be counted as in the original ballot. This applies to both affirmative and negative votes.

Of the responses received, the original negative vote remained negative due to incorrectly changing (correcting) one item. Since the ballot and public review were well underway when this error was found, it will be necessary to conduct another default recirculation ballot.

We anticipate distribution of the default recirculation ballot (document designation CDV3) prior to the end of December.

A copy of the summary of consensus body balloting group vote by interest category has been posted in the ASC Z136 area of this web site.
